In the last week I've been able to trace relatives to Poland, Germany, Scotland & England. I've even learned that I had an 18th great grandfather who was a knight of the British realm!

One of my kids today (a very fashionable, very fabulous kid) told me that they've discussed it, and I am like a live version of Pintrest!

It was probably the best compliment I've ever received. I don't know what that says about me. :)

I mean, I am trending colored jeans, gold accents, owls, and a sock bun. So I see how they might think that. :)

Ha! It was hilarious. Rachel's version of it's all coming back to me was intense. Girl can sing. I used to listen to that song on repeat when I was in 8th grade. Even at such a young age I appreciated a power ballad.

Happy Mother's Day!

Spending Mother's Day with my own mother and sister, seeing Ben later, he's home sick with dad. :( But, nice lunch and then watching The Artist!

Life is calming...

Finally, drama drama from auditions is over and I can finally RELAX! Kinda. Lots to do still but things that are WAY more enjoyable!

Show Choir Auditions

So, it's audition day for show choir. Everyone is like, "aren't you so excited?!" Well, yes and no. Yes, because it's the start of a new awesome year. No, because I will be breaking a lot of hearts today and that is always hard! Just ready for it to be done, ready for my choreographer to call me back, ready to have my meeting, etc! :)
