Bleach design

Word of advice, spray sparingly! A little goes a long way! 50% water, 50% bleach in a spray bottle and use sticky paper or spray adhesive to stick your design on to the garment!

And yes. Copyright violation.

Dyed Onsies

I saw a blog post or a Pinterest tutorial or my friend who's crafty told me about this a couple weeks ago. Regardless, it's one of those "duh" ideas that makes you feel excited to craft and stupid for not thinking of it sooner!!

We had lots of plain white onesies from Ben that were still in great shape, so I kept them. Problem is that after 5 years, those weird formula stains start to show up. (1) so in lieu of junking otherwise good clothing staples, I decided to color them. You just need some dye, a safe place to soak the items and something to stir with. (2) I also pattern dyed a couple, so I also used masking tape and rubber bands. (3)
Mix the dye according to package instructions and REALLY let the pieces soak. 45 minutes or more!

When you're done, rinse the items till they run clear then immediately into the washer.

And you're done!

Making all the things...

Jameson's room and his car seat cover! Covered Ben's old crib bumper, made the valance, painted the walls, ceiling, bedside table and fan blades, covered the footrest, made a new pillow and blanket, hung a leaf, assembled the crib and changing table, made the car seat cover! Whew!!

Bump Style

While Nat's comment that you can't even SEE my bump is technically correct, I promise it was present. :)

Bump Style

Spring! I'm willing it to happen.

2 things about this outfit:

I up cycled the pants. They were wide leg from Ben pregnancy time.

The top is plus size from Target. Plus, doubles my maternity choices!
